2. Appointments and Bookings

Clients are encouraged to book appointments in advance to secure their preferred date and time. Appointment availability may vary depending on stylist schedules, service duration, and salon workload.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shorter service time, appointment rescheduling, or cancellation if the delay affects other bookings.

3. Consultations

Some services, especially hair extensions, colour correction, bleaching, and major colour changes, may require a consultation before the final appointment. During consultation, our team may assess your hair condition, discuss your expectations, explain suitable options, and provide an estimated price.

Final pricing may vary depending on hair length, thickness, product usage, extension type, colour work, and the time required to complete the service.

4. Pricing

All service prices listed on our website or shared by the salon are starting prices unless stated otherwise. Final pricing may change after a full consultation or once the stylist has assessed the condition, length, thickness, and requirements of your hair.

Sydney Hair Extension reserves the right to update service pricing at any time without prior notice.

5. Deposits and Payments

A deposit may be required to secure certain appointments, especially for hair extensions, colouring, long services, or high-value bookings. Deposits are used to reserve your appointment time and may be non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled late or missed.

Full payment must be made at the end of your service unless otherwise agreed by the salon. We may accept payment by cash, card, bank transfer, or other available payment methods.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact the salon as early as possible.

Cancellations made with short notice may result in loss of deposit or a cancellation fee. No-shows may be required to pay a new deposit before booking future appointments.

7. Hair Extension Services

Hair extension results depend on your natural hair condition, chosen extension method, aftercare routine, and maintenance schedule. Clients must follow the aftercare advice provided by Sydney Hair Extension to maintain the quality and longevity of their extensions.

The salon is not responsible for damage, matting, slipping, dryness, or reduced extension life caused by poor aftercare, use of unsuitable products, heat damage, chemical treatments performed elsewhere, or failure to attend maintenance appointments.

8. Hair Colouring and Chemical Services

Hair colouring, bleaching, toning, colour correction, and other chemical services can vary depending on the client’s existing colour, hair history, hair health, and previous treatments.

While we aim to achieve the desired result, some colours may require multiple sessions. Sydney Hair Extension is not responsible for unexpected results caused by undisclosed previous colour, box dye, chemical treatments, damaged hair, or inaccurate hair history provided by the client.

A patch test or strand test may be recommended or required before certain colour services.

9. Client Responsibility

Clients must provide accurate information about their hair history, including previous colouring, bleaching, chemical straightening, keratin treatments, extensions, medications, allergies, scalp sensitivity, or any condition that may affect the service.

Sydney Hair Extension will not be responsible for any issue caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client.

10. Results and Expectations

We always aim to provide high-quality results, but hair services can vary from person to person. Final results depend on natural hair texture, hair condition, previous treatments, colour build-up, maintenance habits, and aftercare.

Reference photos may be used for inspiration, but exact results cannot always be guaranteed.

11. Aftercare

Clients must follow the aftercare instructions provided after their service. This may include using recommended products, avoiding certain shampoos, limiting heat styling, brushing correctly, attending maintenance appointments, and protecting hair while sleeping or swimming.

Failure to follow aftercare advice may affect the result, quality, and lasting time of the service.

12. Refund Policy

Due to the time, products, and professional work involved in salon services, Sydney Hair Extension does not usually offer refunds for completed services.

If you are unhappy with your result, please contact the salon within a reasonable time so we can review your concern. Where appropriate, we may offer an adjustment or correction at the salon’s discretion.

Refunds or corrections may not be provided where the issue is caused by poor aftercare, external services, home colouring, use of unsuitable products, or failure to follow salon advice.

13. Products

Any hair care products purchased from Sydney Hair Extension should be used according to the instructions provided. Products may not be refundable once opened or used, unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

14. Health, Allergies, and Safety

Clients must inform the salon of any allergies, scalp sensitivity, medical conditions, pregnancy, recent surgery, skin irritation, or reactions to previous hair services before the appointment.

Sydney Hair Extension reserves the right to refuse or postpone a service if we believe it may not be safe or suitable for the client’s hair, scalp, or health condition.

15. Right to Refuse Service

Sydney Hair Extension reserves the right to refuse service to any client who behaves in an abusive, threatening, disrespectful, or inappropriate manner, or where the requested service may cause damage to the client’s hair.
